..01... . . . first things first, as previously stated, this is an independent, highly selective and mutually exclusive roleplay interpretation of thena, from marvel's eternals. my portrayal of thena is entirely influenced by the marvel cinematic universe, building upon my own headcanons and developed through interactions with my mutuals. while i acknowledge the comics as a separate lore, i am not familiar with them nor am i likely to become familiar with them. the most i will do is wiki research but there will be little to no comic influence found here. don't come for me for my lack of comics understanding. YOU WILL BE BLOCKED. this won't prevent me from interacting with comic based portrayals, however please be aware that i am not.

..02... . . . on the subject of selectivity and mutual exclusivity, #MAHDENA is not my only blog however it is currently my primary. all other blogs are on temp. hiatus. this blog will be writing heavy. for this reason, among others, i will be very selective with who i follow/follow back. this applies to friends. it's nothing personal, i just don't want to stress about numbers here nor am i interested in interacting ooc here either, beyond plotting. so please, even if you know me and i know you, don't expect me to follow you.in the same arena, i will only follow blogs i intend to write with, with limited exceptions. if i follow you and we do not interact within a period of time, i will soft-block you. you are welcome to follow me again if you intend to write with me, but if we do not interact again after this, i will block you entirely. again, it's nothing personal. as for mutual exclusivity, basically : i will only interact with blogs i follow. you are welcome to continue following me if you wish, but i do not expect it. however if we are not mutuals, please DO NOT INTERACT** with my posts. don't reblog them. don't send me memes. reblog from the source, unless the post no longer exists and you are unable to. et cetera et cetera. excessive activity spamming or reblogging of my posts/edits/sets will warrant a hard block.

..03... . . . triggering content and nsfw material may be present on this blog. due to the nature of the marvel universe, and the personal trauma that thena has experienced and struggles with throughout the film, subjects such as : ptsd, violence, mass genocide, depression, anxiety / panic attacks, night terrors and aggression may be prevalent. there are subjects that may pertain to thena's character that are particularly traumatic that I WILL NOT WRITE specifically, but may be mentioned either in threads or in headcanon metas. these will be tagged. i use the "subject cw" tag and the "subject /" tag. i cannot keep track of personal triggers beyond the standard. if you need me to tag a post, you are welcome to contact me privately and i will endeavour to do so provided you are civil and polite when requesting it. should i write or post anything of a sexual nature, i will use either "explicit cw" or "suggestive cw" - i will not use the nsfw tag for flagged post purposes, and to avoid the search feature.

..04... . . . speaking of explicit or suggestive content, let's talk about shipping. while i am open to the subject and will INVEST MYSELF ENTIRELY should a ship develop here, ships are not my priority for thena in terms of romance or sex. prior to mahd wy'ry, thena did indulge herself in sexual relationships, however they were never more than that for her. shipping with thena will be subject to and only available via extensive plotting.

the relationship between thena and gilgamesh, or the way i interpret it, is beyond comprehension. there is love there, there is devotion. the best way i can explain it is that they are soulmates, or as referenced in a shared headcanon with mesmersi + others, they are gann josin. this means they are life mates, and this can be either platonic or romantic in nature. this will not change regardless of verse, arc or ship. she can fall in love with someone else and still be gann josin with gilgamesh. i am open to potentially shipping thena with other eternals however I WILL NOT ship her with druig, phastos, sprite or ajak. if this is something you, as an eternal canon writer, are interested in, please let me know.

..05... . . . i'm not interested in personal DNI's. if there is someone in the community genuinely toxic, problematic, or a danger to the community, then i do want to know about them, especially if i am interacting with them. however, personal issues are not my concern nor any of my business. DO NOT involve me in your conflicts. it's happened to me before, and it was both upsetting and exhausting and i'm not doing it again. standard banned subjects and faceclaims apply here. i'm not going through them. you know the drill.

..06... . . . i write primarily in second person and i use small text with coloured text as accents. i use bold and italic freely as well as permalink and regular text size for formatting and emphasis. i double space my text and differentiate between descriptive text and dialogue very blatantly. while I DO NOT expect the same formatting style from you, i do ask that you don't use sub small text with me, photoshopped replies, excessive use of fancy fonts or prose. it hurts my both my eyes and my brain. i use icons, made by me, that include a blockquote and i may, on occasion, use a gif, also made by me. the PSD i use is custom commissioned from venuscommissions, with very slight adjustments. do not steal anything original. this includes : icons, gifs, graphics, carrd layout/design, headcanons, et cetera et cetera. they were made either by me or for me and are not for public use.

THENA, also known as ATHENA, MINERVA and on occasion referred to as AZURA ( comic influence ), is an ETERNAL, genetically engineered by the celestial, ARISHEM. she responds to SHE/HER/THEY pronouns and her age is UNKNOWN. she was born, or created, within THE WORLD FORGE along with the other eternals, who she calls KIN, or FAMILY.

she is of AVERAGE height ( 5'5" ) with a LEAN, ATHLETIC physical build. she is primarily known for her semi-long WHITE, BLONDE hair. her eyes are BLUE with flecks of GOLD and her skin tone is FAIR. with that said, there are instances where her eyes cloud over and become GREY/WHITE. she is OMNISEXUAL and DEMIROMANTIC. her faceclaim is ANGELINA JOLIE.

LOCATIONS : centuri-six, destroyed. earth ( babylon, greece, rome, the amazon, australia, england, the americas ), deep space. ABILITIES : enhanced physiology ( superhuman strength, speed, resistance, stamina, agility, reflexes, accelerated healing ), immortality, levitation, cosmic energy manipulation ( photokinesis, thermokinesis, concussive blasts, mild telepathy, restrictive teleportation ), weapon manifestation. thena is a master in various forms of weaponry and the use of said weapons. she is a dancer, and multi-lingual. SPECIFICS : PTSD ( post-traumatic stress disorder ), manic episodes, aggression and violent breaks, anxiety and depression, night and day terrors, visions and hallucinations. thena has no scarring, as most if not all injuries she incurred during her longevity either healed by itself, or was healed by ajak. with that said. most treatments will not work on her.

set within the marvel cinematic universe, during and throughout the events of the eternals film. this verse is my default and can span the thousands of years that the eternals reside on earth. this includes her exile with gilgamesh following her mahd wy'ry diagnosis and subsequent mental break. this is my default and canon and can be adjusted to incorporate crossovers.

this is my alt/au verse wherein thena either does not develop mahd wy'ry in tenochtitlan, or she learns to control it over time. she lives among humans as doctor thena elliot, a professor at harvard specialising in history, both ancient and modern, with a specialty focus on war. this verse can be split in to various other crossover sub-verses.
